Marketing Assistant - Springfield, MA

Description: The Marketing Assistant will provide assistance and support to the Business Development Department and to the top executives of the company.
This position will also assist other departments, such as Claims and Human Resources, in a variety of supporting functions. Responsibilities include:
preparing presentations and other marketing documents in support of sales visits and prospecting of new clients; conducting marketing research and participating in sales initiatives; assisting in the company website updates and participating in direct mail marketing efforts; scheduling and organizing activities such as conferences, training sessions, meetings and on-site client visits; screening calls and managing executives' schedules; managing corporate travel program including arranging travel for executives, visiting clients and prospects; maintaining and scheduling use of cell phones and GPS equipment available for company travel.
Qualifications: This position requires excellent organizational skills, a cooperative, professional attitude and effective interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates must be detail oriented, have the ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing work assignments, exercise discretion regarding confidential matters, and produce quality materials within tight timeframes.
Minimum of 2 years in a marketing support role or a related administrative position. Associates degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
